{"id":23706,"date":"2021-04-29T12:32:52","date_gmt":"2021-04-29T11:32:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/?p=23706"},"modified":"2023-05-11T11:45:00","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T10:45:00","slug":"aplicaciones-videoconferencia-codigo-abierto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/2021\/04\/aplicaciones-videoconferencia-codigo-abierto\/","title":{"rendered":"Programas de videoconferencia gratuitos que respetan tu privacidad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La necesidad de impartir clases en l\u00ednea ha supuesto la b\u00fasqueda de software de videoconferencia seguro y de c\u00f3digo abierto para muchas instituciones educativas para proteger la privacidad y la seguridad de los datos de los profesores y sus estudiantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando utilizas, por ejemplo, Zoom, Teams o Meet para un videoconferencia, los datos de tus estudiantes quedan guardados en los servidores de estas empresas y no tienes el control sobre la seguridad ni el uso que pueden hacer de ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el contrario la mayor\u00eda de programas de c\u00f3digo abierto ofrecen dos opciones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Si trabajas en una instituci\u00f3n educativa con gran n\u00famero de estudiantes, el software puedes instalarse de forma gratuita en un <strong>servidor propio del centro<\/strong>, obteniendo el control total de estos datos.  El centro s\u00f3lo tendr\u00e1 que pagar por el uso y mantenimiento de este servidor dedicado del mismo modo que hace con otros programas como Moodle.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Si eres un profesor\/a y quieres usar un software de c\u00f3digo abierto puntualmente, muchas de estas aplicaciones proporcionan un servicio de <strong>videoconferencia basado en web<\/strong> <strong>sin coste ni instalaciones<\/strong>. El nivel de seguridad no es tan alto como en el caso de la instalaci\u00f3n en un servidor propio, pero al final de cada sesi\u00f3n, los datos se eliminan de los servidores utilizados.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n poder acceder a este tipo de software de forma gratuita ha implicado el uso extendido de plataformas no comerciales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n te dejo algunas de las opciones de c\u00f3digo abierto que he probado para tu evaluaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jitsi Meet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/2020\/03\/plataformas-gratuitas-videoconferencia-emision-en-directo-clases\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jitsi Meet<\/a> es una plataforma muy sencilla de usar para impartir una clase en l\u00ednea con un n\u00famero ilimitado de estudiantes o los que permita la capacidad de su servidor web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dispone de muchas funcionalidades interesantes para la educaci\u00f3n como grabar la videoclase, comunicarse por chat con los alumnos y compartir un v\u00eddeo o la pantalla de tu PC con una presentaci\u00f3n para apoyar tu explicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada sala de reuni\u00f3n creado por el profesor es independiente de la anterior clase, es decir s\u00f3lo existe mientras est\u00e9is reunidos y deja de existir cuando sale el \u00faltimo participante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"594\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Jitsi-funcionalidades-1024x594.jpg\" alt=\"Jitsi-funcionalidades\" class=\"wp-image-22852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Jitsi-funcionalidades-1024x594.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Jitsi-funcionalidades-300x174.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Jitsi-funcionalidades-768x446.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Jitsi-funcionalidades-1536x892.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.totemguard.com\/aulatotem\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Jitsi-funcionalidades.jpg 1733w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Interfaz de Jitsi Meet con sus funcionalidades<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Puedes empezar a usar esta aplicaci\u00f3n desde cualquier navegador web desde este enlace: <a aria-label=\"https:\/\/meet.jit.si\/ (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/meet.jit.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/meet.jit.si\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si necesitas instalar la aplicaci\u00f3n en un servidor propio y personalizar algunas opciones de seguridad y privacidad, tu centro educativo puede descargarla desde su p\u00e1gina oficial: <a aria-label=\"https:\/\/jitsi.org\/ (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/jitsi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/jitsi.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BigBlueButton<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"BigBlueButton (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/bigbluebutton.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BigBlueButton<\/a> destaca en esta categor\u00eda ya que est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada especialmente para el aprendizaje en l\u00ednea. Adem\u00e1s de ofrecer un mayor nivel de seguridad, tambi\u00e9n encontrar\u00e1s muchas de las funcionalidades de las herramientas comerciales como Zoom o Adobe Connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si eres profesor\/a o diriges un centro educativo, puedes probarla de forma gratuita, aunque en estos momentos en su <a aria-label=\"versi\u00f3n web (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/bigbluebutton.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">versi\u00f3n web<\/a> te limita a una sesi\u00f3n de 60 minutos y no permite grabar la videoconferencia. Por tanto, es mejor alojarlo en un servidor propio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"553\" Puedes verlo en catal\u00e1n aqu\u00ed: <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/HG8T-E81zzM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/HG8T-E81zzM<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como inconveniente, BigBlueButton no ofrece una transcripci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica en tiempo real de la videoconferencia. Si necesitas esta funcionalidad para hacer tus clases m\u00e1s inclusivas o f\u00e1ciles de seguir, tendr\u00e1s que optar por Google Meet (transcripci\u00f3n disponible en espa\u00f1ol) o Teams (s\u00f3lo en ingl\u00e9s), en donde el nivel precisi\u00f3n de la transcripci\u00f3n es muy elevado dado su potente reconocimiento de voz a texto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jami<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a aria-label=\"Jami (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/jami.net\/free-as-in-freedom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jami<\/a> es otra aplicaci\u00f3n gratuita y de c\u00f3digo abierto que protege la privacidad y las libertades de sus usuarios. Funciona \u00edntegramente utilizando el <strong>sistema peer-to-peer<\/strong> (de igual a igual) con lo que <strong>no requiere de un servidor<\/strong> para retransmitir datos entre los usuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La conferencia se realiza en el dispositivo de la persona que la inicia y como no depende de un servidor, el n\u00famero m\u00e1ximo de participantes depende de la potencia t\u00e9cnica de tu dispositivo o PC y del ancho de banda disponible.
